The Amassoma Shoreline Project plays a key role in optimizing material handling and supporting logistics operations around the region. As part of the project’s expansion phase, robust and durable silos were required to ensure efficient storage, product integrity, and operational reliability.
BGS Nigeria Limited was contracted to deliver the complete design, fabrication, and welding of the storage silos to meet these operational goals. Our engineering team approached this task with the same discipline and technical accuracy that have become synonymous with the BGS brand.
Our engineering team began by translating the project’s operational requirements into detailed fabrication drawings. Every calculation—from plate thickness to structural load capacity—was carefully verified to ensure the silos can withstand long-term operational stress and coastal environmental conditions.
Each silo was skillfully welded by our team of certified professionals who follow internationally accepted Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS). Every weld joint was inspected for uniformity, penetration, and structural integrity, ensuring the entire system performs reliably under real-world operational loads.

Before site mobilization, each silo receives protective coating treatments designed to withstand moisture, temperature fluctuations, and operational wear. After passing all QA/QC tests, the units were approved for transport and integrated into the Amassoma Shoreline Project’s logistics framework.
