Fabrication and Installation Of Well 9SS Sand Trap, Ogboinbiri – Nigeria
This project was done by BGS for NAOC in the year 2022 at Ogbainbiri community Bayelsa State. NAOC identified that wellhead 9SS at Ogbainbiri community produces too much sand alongside crude oil which was destroying their fittings and equipment at the flow station and gas plant, in order to address the issue, BGS was called upon for solutions to minimize the amount of sand coming out of the well.
BGS came up with the solution to the problem, which is to fabricate and install a sand trap at the well to trap the sand coming out of the well before it goes to the flow station and gas plant.
